The No New Gas Plants Coalition is a coalition of advocacy organizations working together to create a movement for clean air and clean energy in Virginia. A current list of member organizations is available at nogasplant.org/our-members.

Data Sharing Within Coalition
- Central Coalition List: When you submit a form or take an action, your information is added to our central coalition database, accessible to select member organizations through our AirTable organizing platform
- Referrer Code Actions: If you enter using a specific member organization’s referrer code, your information will be shared with that referring organization and may be added to their systems for their own purposes
- Sponsored Actions: If you take an action sponsored by specific organizations, your information may be shared with all sponsoring organizations for their own purposes
Communication Management
- Managing your communication preferences and opt-out requests
- Responding to information requests and support inquiries
- Maintaining records required for legal compliance
4. How We Share Your Information
Within the Coalition
Coalition Member Access: Some coalition member organizations have access to the central database through AirTable for coalition purposes. However, member organizations agree not to export data for their independent use unless you specifically entered through their referrer code or took an action they sponsored
Coalition Purposes Defined: Coalition purposes include activities that align with our shared coalition strategic plan or that are voted on and approved by the coalition
Third-Party Service Providers
We use the following platforms to manage our operations:
ActionNetwork.org: Our primary platform for email communications, petitions, and action management. ActionNetwork servers are located in the United States and process data according to their privacy policy.
AirTable: Our central organizing database platform. AirTable stores data on US-based AWS servers (US-East-1 region) and processes data according to their privacy policy and data processing agreement.
ScaleToWin: Handles our text messaging and phone communications. ScaleToWin is a US-based company that processes communications according to their privacy terms.
WordPress and Website Plugins: Our website runs on WordPress with various plugins that may collect standard website data such as analytics, security monitoring, and user experience optimization.
Cloudflare: Provides website security and protection services.
Zoho ZeptoMail: Delivers transactional emails for website administrative purposes.

We may disclose information when required by law, court order, or government regulation, or when necessary to protect our rights, safety, or the rights and safety of others.

- Member Organization Changes: When organizations leave the coalition, they lose access to the central database but retain data they collected through their own referrer codes or sponsored actions
- Legal Requirements: We may retain information longer when required by law or for legitimate legal purposes
8. Children’s Privacy
Our website and services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn we have collected information from a child under 13, we will delete it promptly. Our website is publicly accessible and contains educational information about issues that may be of interest to people of all ages.
